Take Off

I wanted to cry but I had to hold back my tear because my eight year old was devastated.  Seeing me cry would only have made things worst.  She was inconsolable all night and said that it was the worst day of her life.  My daughter has been carrying around my husband's coat since last night and wanted to take it to school with her.  This is going to be a hard year for her.
